Why Happy Ratters?

• Any dog can play Happy Ratters

• No prior experience needed

• Great for confidence building, teamwork, and pure fun

• Suitable for both beginners and experienced rat‑hunting teams

What You’ll Learn

Instructor Darla Lacey will guide you and your dog through the basics of Happy Ratters, where dogs search for safely contained rats hidden in tubes throughout a simulated “urban” environment — clean trash bags, boxes, barrels, and other alley‑style items.

**Note - All rats are humanely cared for and never harmed.

The workshop includes:

• Overview of rules and requirements

• Instruction and demonstrations

• Hands‑on practice for working teams (One‑dog‑at‑a‑time working format)

• Question and answer period

Date & Time

There are two 3-hour sessions on Saturday, February 21, 2026

Cost

• Working Spot: $75 (limited to 8 teams per session)

• Audit Spot: $25 (unlimited)

Morning Session: 9:00am - 12:00pm
