2025 Summer Barn Hunt Series - FULL

You've probably heard people talking about Barn Hunt and are wondering what all the buzz is about. Maybe you’re asking yourself, “What is this dog sport?”, “How can I learn more?”, or “Where do I even start?” Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. Our Intro to Barn Hunt workshop will walk you through the basics, giving you a chance to see if this exciting sport is the right fit for you and your dog.

If you are a beginner or complete newbie, plan to join us on June 21 at GoGoGoDog Acres. We will give you enough information to get you started in this sport and allow you to introduce your dog to the rats.

Some of the areas that we will cover include:

• Basic Barn Hunt rules

• How to get your dog started

• Evaluation of your dog's readiness to compete

• At home training tips

• Trust and teamwork

This will be a 3 hour workshop from 8:00am to 11:00am. Yes, we know it's early but this is an outdoor venue and the rats don't like the heat. We need to start and finish before it gets too hot!

Note** This is a foundation workshop so if you are already competing, it's likely not the class for you.
